We got engaged in October 2022 and met Nikki just two days later at a wedding fayre. We were immediately captivated by Nikki. Prior to meeting Nikki, we had never even heard of independent celebrants, but we left that wedding fayre sure in the knowledge that we had to have Nikki at our wedding!
During our eleven-month engagement, Nikki was a constant presence without imposing on us. She has always been available to chat, respond to questions and just share in our wedding joy! She has felt like a very safe, professional, and knowledgeable pair of hands.
Without a doubt, the highlight of our journey with Nikki was meeting her in London. We had the best time talking to Nikki and sharing the story of our relationship. We discussed the intricacies of our relationship and our hopes and dreams for the future. Nikki is a wonderful, personable character who has a way of just putting you at ease. It was so natural to share our lives with Nikki and it was such a special opportunity to talk about our relationship in this way.
We also had access to Nikki’s website which offers a wealth of information on the wedding ceremony. It was so lovely to have access to this and to have the time to really consider carefully, with Nikki’s guidance, what we wanted from our ceremony. Nikki provides fantastic resources.
Nikki created a beautiful, unique wedding script. It was absolutely perfect. In fact, happy tears were shed when we read it together! She had done the most incredible job of capturing us as a couple in a very creative way! It was detailed, personal, and just beautiful.
As we approached our wedding, Nikki was always available via email. She was a reassuring presence for us, our bridal party and our vendors, providing information on the venue, positioning diagrams and an order of service. Nikki was definitely a level above some of our other vendors because she was so accessible to us genuinely shared in our excitement for our wedding day.
Our wedding ceremony was really beautiful thanks to Nikki. The way she delivered the script was so thoughtful and lovely. Listening to Nikki share our love story really gave us an opportunity to stop and reflect on our journey so far. We had a ‘tying of the knot’ handfasting ceremony which included our mothers and added a more creative and dynamic element to the ceremony. It was a very special moment for us and our family and gave the guests something different to observe during our ceremony.
We have had so much positive feedback about our ceremony, with the main focus being the very personal and unique ceremony that Nikki curated and delivered. To be quite honest, our guests had never seen anything like it and were amazed to be part of something so special. Many of our guests have been to several weddings this year and reflected that Nikki offers something so much more that the quite repetitive and sterile ceremonies they’d seen before.
Nikki took some lovely photos of us, our venue and our wedding breakfast space and put together a lovely social media post which we were thrilled to share with our guests as she had, once again, captured it all so well!
We would highly recommend Nikki. If you’re not considering an independent celebrant, you should; and if you are, definitely consider Nikki! What she offers is something truly special. Your wedding day should reflect you. Your ceremony should pull together the story of your love, the elements of life that you hold dearest, and your hopes and dreams for the future. But she was there to answer any questions on the lead up to the wedding throughout all the planning stages, not just about the details of her ceremony but even helped us with registrar’s and all the little things you wouldn’t think/know about on your own.

Nikki was incredible. She is so organised, thinking of every detail so we did not have to worry. She really listened and created the perfect unique ceremony for us. She was able to handle 8 bridesmaids, 6 groomsmen, children and a dog all getting involved! She had lots of fun innovative ideas which made it so special. So many guests commented afterwards on how great she was. Afterwards she provided beautifully prepared keep sakes, including beautiful handfasting ribbons and the ceremony printed out in full. We cannot recommend her enough!

With multiple wedding postponements due to the pandemic, we went on a journey with Nikki!
Nikki took the time over many months to get to know us as a couple and her support and flexibility at every difficult decision we made to postpone our special day were greatly received.

The entire process of working with Nikki was thoroughly enjoyable and often kept us grounded with what the entire wedding is all about, which for us and like most others ultimately was all about love and our relationship. The dedication and level of detail Nikki went into to get to know us and our relationship meant that she could then write the most beautiful and powerful wedding script we’d ever heard.
To this day we’re still not quite sure how she did it, Nikki you are extremely talented!
We wanted our ceremony to be the perfect balance of our love story, express our love for one another but also be a bit light hearted and be intimate all at the same time and you delivered that balance perfectly. From the lead up, the ceremony, the rehearsal and everything you did all helped to ensure we had the best day and that everything ran smoothly, and we wholeheartedly know this was all down to you, your kindness and your expertise!
You really are the very best, and we both have had so many of our guests, both on the day and since then, compliment the ceremony.
They specifically mentioned how tailored and modern the ceremony was and how amazing you are Nikki, most of our guests even said it was one of the best wedding ceremonies they have ever seen! It was just so personal to us, and ultimately it was way better than what we could have ever asked for.

Choosing Nikki as our celebrant was undoubtedly one of the best wedding decisions we made!
Getting to know Nikki was really fun and she worked so hard to get to know us to ensure that our wedding script was bespoke and personal. So many guests complimented us on the ceremony and said that it was the best one that they had experienced. So much of this was down to Nikki and she also gave us some wonderful ideas to make it extra special.
To top it all off, Nikki was really great at helping take pressure off us by handling arrangements with the venue and other suppliers.

Nikki was our celebrant for our Wedding ceremony! She was absolutely incredible on the day – she made my husband and I feel at ease, despite standing in front of all our guests, she created a lovely tone and atmosphere and was an amazing cat herder to boot dealing with many moving parts (a huge bridal party, coordinating musical numbers as well as readings etc) ! So so many of our guests commented on how fantastic Nikki was and how much they enjoyed the ceremony – this was all her!
However, the real Nikki magic is behind the scenes. She spent many hours with my husband and I over zoom using a structured, clear but also really fun, process to get to know us and for us to also get down our thoughts and feelings about each other! She wove all these different parts into a wonderful script and story for the ceremony that was really special.
Would recommend her to anyone – her patience approach, kindness and flexibility was wonderful for us as we were trying to plan a wedding throughout the pandemic! She guided us through everything and made it such a wonderful experience. You’ll be so lucky to have her! Xx

Nikki made our ceremony truly amazing; it was the best day and the best ceremony we could have hoped for! We were blown away by the amount of people that came up to us and said it was the “best wedding that had witnessed”. Nikki conducted a sand ceremony during our wedding uniting our two families and five children. It was the most poignant and beautiful ceremony and really made the children feel they were at the heart of the day. Nikki spoke so beautifully and her words really summed up how we feel and how integral all the people in our family are. Sam and James – Baby Thanksgiving Ceremony
One of the happiest and most fulfilling days of last year was undoubtedly the thanksgiving ceremony we held for our 10 month old daughter. We didn’t really know what we wanted – just that a traditional christening didn’t feel quite right. Nikki led us through the whole thing, introducing ideas to make the day special and gently encouraging us not to be TOO casual about the whole thing! She gave us the permission to make a bit of a fuss!
